£1k is possibly too low, £2-£8k is more a good range for a first car Small cars are best for new drivers, a large estate car is harder to park and manoeuvre. Big estate cars are not the cheapest to insure, smaller cars with lower cc engines are typically the cheapest. The difference will shorten for a new driver that is older though. I know they’re FWD, but they’re also much cheaper than the other options I mentioned. So I was looking at some used models on Autotrader, but I’m not sure which one to choose. 2014 Fiesta ST - 80,111 mi $9,995. 2017 Fiesta ST - 62,482 mi $12,994. 2013 Civic SI - 78,159 mi $13,999. 2014 Fiesta ST - 41,893 mi $14,991.

I don't know much about the specific model but Ford makes quality cars and they have better pricing than other manufacturers. You really cannot go wrong with any car manufacture these days. There was a time when Japanese manufacturing stood abive the rest but not anymore. Korean cars such as Kia and Hyundai are an exceptional value these days.
One of the most popular Uber and Lyft cars is the Toyota Prius. If you have four physical doors (no suicide/doors that only open from inside), and at least 3 (preferably 4) PAX seatbelts, your vehicle type itself will pass. Thanks for the responses. I guess my only real concern is the backseat doesn't have much legroom.
The mqb platform really fixed a lot of reliability concerns and parts costs due to sharing more parts between models. I have 80k miles on my gti and despite being highly modified it is very reliable and parts aren't a huge premium over other brands. 6. Expensive-Food759. • 1 yr. ago. That’s not a lot of miles.

Stability was clearly a buzzword in the car’s development. The 2018 Fiesta is 13mm wider than before, but the rear track has been widened by 10mm and the front by a pretty massive 30mm. That’s

Fiesta is our favourite. I heard nothing but good things about it, but it's just out of our price range. In fact, we increased it already so we'd have a better chance of finding one for around €4000. Corsa, on the other hand, is cheaper, but I heard nothing but bad things about it.
Fiesta (2014 auto) Transmission problem. This began suddenly after turning off and on the car .after that when I turn on/Off the car sometimes works perfectly sometimes not, Reverse is not working and delay shifting and very .I disconnected the battery for hours and after that works okay but after turning off/on the car it happens again .I

So yesterday I took delivery of a 2016 Ford Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost sedan. My reasons for picking this vehicle is that I wanted a brand new car in this price range that was fun to drive in some aspect, manual transmission, and had good ride quality. I researched a lot, and fell in love with the idea of the Fiesta Ecoboost.

The Focus ST recaros are nearly identical and are easier to find. I'd personally go sit in some of those and make your decision that way. In my opinion 100% worth it. With the stock seats you feel like you're just in an econobox whereas the recaros make you feel connected to the car more. soundman1024. As a car, it's just bad. Crazy expensive for what was an ecobox ford. Its only expensive because its rare, not because its good. Its not good, its an ecobox. Its old, but not in a charming old way. Just old. The mpg is poor by modern standards, Insurance will be high, Part availability can be an issue, Reliability will be poor, The Ford Fiesta is a supermini vehicle marketed as a subcompact car for drivers to enjoy. It was first manufactured in 1976 and retired in 2019. It offers value for those who don’t need a lot of space and don’t want to spend much. There are many quality Ford Fiesta options, but many Ford Fiesta years to avoid.
All the track guys use them (I use them on my track car and street car), they are absolutely fine and quite cheap to boot. The FiST is definitely more fun to drive, and really is more of a competitor to the Honda Fit as opposed to the Civic. The civic is really competing with the Focus ST. The civic will probably be the better day-to-day car with typical Honda benefits like a great shifter, superior fit and finish, better resale value, etc. JNkDxW.
