Dueto it being out of warranty, they cannot do anything. To all owners, if you have a car in warranty and you start to hear a "hissing" noise in the speakers (like when an old radio signal is weak and you hear noise), then go back to the audi dealer and make sure your unit/amp is replaced!!!! AudiA5 / S5 / RS 5 Coupe & Cabrio - MMI not working - This morning my radio stopped working but the MMI was still on. Thinking it was the station I tried changing the setting. Nothing happened. Then the MMI shut off by itself, the screen and the controls. I tried turning it back on - nothing. After a minute or so it Startwith a scan and see if you're getting DTCs or just a bunch of cannot reach errors for 5F-information electronics, 56-radio, and if B&O, 47-sound system. If the MOST ring members are all AWOL, start with seeing if you have an object on the optical ring down. For MMI 3G (+), there's just the J794 master unit in the dash, the J533 diagnostic . #1. I have an 2016 A3 Sline. Two weeks ago the DAB waveband disappeared from the radio. My DAB channels are still showing under my saved channels but when I select them there is no sound. If I turn up the volume it says that the channel is unavailable. I’d tried all settings and a reset but cannot resolve it. Forat least a couple of months, MMI display would occasionally not power on upon vehicle start. The problem would always resolve itself, usually by simply turning the vehicle back off and on. For the last ~4 weeks, however, MMI display has been completely dead. Nothing ever comes on the display anymore, not even a splash screen. Symptoms

Girlfriendhas a 2023 A3 and the MMI screen isn’t turning on at all. Standard message on the dash saying ‘initialising entertainment. Please wait’ screen never turns on and this message just seems to keep spinning around between the clocks. USB output isn’t working either so I have checked the fuse which looks to be okay.

A6 / S6 (C6 Platform) Discussion - MMI not working - I have an audi a6 avant 2005,mmi system has decided to stop working a while ago,I thought I had traced the fault back to the amplifier,as I got an optical loop connector to test all the units, when I bypass the amp,the system works normally, but Sometimes, the Audi MMI display does not come on when I plug in the key and turn on the ignition. It has happened 4-5 times in the last 3 weeks. No matter what button I press, the display does not come on. I even tried turning off the ignition, getting out of the car, locking it and then getting back in.
